Frequently Asked Questions
- Why is reading an EPUB on an iPhone better than reading a PDF?
• You don't have to keep scrolling side to side
• Stanza automatically saves your place
• You can create bookmarks
• There's a built-in dictionary function
• The file's a lot smaller
- Why is it better to convert the file using this web site instead of my PC?
• No software to install
• No hassle getting the EPUB to your iPhone
• If the PDF's on the Internet, you don't even need a PC
- What are the limitations of the conversion?
• PDF must be <= 30 MB
• Only non-vector images are converted
• Tables are not converted
• Most PDF's that we've tested convert reasonably well, but some EPUB's
come out with the text scrambled
- Why is the text not formatted properly?
Unfortunately, converting from PDF to EPUB is a non-trivial task (this is mostly
due to PDF being a page-layout file format, not a word-processing file format).
This results in the EPUB output sometimes being less than ideal. We will be improving
our conversion process over time, so a PDF converted in the future might look better
than the same PDF converted today.
- Why are some/all of the images missing?
Only some images are converted. Any image that is in a vector format is not converted.
- Do you support anything other than PDF?
Not at this time.
- Is there a way to change the title of the EPUB?
Not at this time.
- Why do I get an empty page or a "Page not found" error when I try to upload a PDF?
You are trying to upload a PDF that is too big.
Currently, only PDF's that are <= 30 MB can be converted. If you think that Epub2Go
should support files larger than this, please contact us.
- How do I get Stanza on my iPhone?

- How do I fix this iPhone error: "Cannot Open Page. Safari cannot open the
